How To Install Right Track

Download the RightTrack app – a safe driving tool brought to you by Liberty Mutual.
At Liberty Mutual, we believe safe drivers should pay less for their insurance. That's why we offer RightTrack, a 90-day program that lets customers with safe driving habits save up to 30% on their insurance. As you drive around, the RightTrack app will evaluate four key safe driving habits (fast acceleration, hard braking, miles driven and late-night driving) to determine how much you can save with RightTrack. The more safe miles you drive, the bigger your savings.
Depending on your state, the RightTrack app may record your trips on its own, or work in conjunction with a small RightTrack Tag device that sticks on your car windshield. RightTrack needs to access your location so that it can still capture your trips when the app is closed. This trip data is used to calculate your discount and show you trip maps.
To sign up, you can contact your local Liberty Mutual office, call our toll free number at 1-800-837-5254, or get an online quote first at www.libertymutual.com/auto-insurance. If you've already enrolled, simply download the app and register to complete the set up process and start driving your way to a lower premium.
Liberty Stands With You.
*Please note: the RightTrack app is currently only available in select states.

Right track driving evaluation
There are a few peculiarities about this app. All my trips are not reflected and sometimes not at all but usually after enough time on the charger. Definitions are sketchy for example I had the great majority of my trips rated excellent but after one what they call hard breaking which I don't ever do the entire score is ruined. This is from one single breaking which I doubt it was but all of a sudden I Am trending downward. I have been told my breaks are very "touchy". I am used to the sensitive action of my breaks and feel you are unduly harsh. Wouldn't it be better to actually break hard rather than run into whatever may cause one to break. Now I am trending up again but am aware if I should ever have one swerve or sudden break my entire decades of accident free and claim free driving would be shot. I take a defensive driving course every three years and that you judge so harshly for even a isolated event doesn't make me confident that you would really look into the facts should an accident ever occur.
Got a little discount, but felt deceived and at times, made driving less safe!
Setting up was a bit of hassle. However, getting device ready once I received them was fairly simple.
Like many reviewers mentioned already, device is very, very sensitive. Which, like one of the reviews said, it actually made driving less save to not get dinged with a bad drive. For example, when approaching a traffic light that turns yellow, if one stops, it triggers a "braking" event. Therefore, next time, one is tempted to just keep driving through the yellow even when there is sufficient time to stop. Same happens for acceleration.
Also, if you are driving a Tesla, you are toast of you leave acceleration on standard mode, and/or if are driving on auto pilot and car decides to slow down for traffic ahead.
And, last but not least, like many other users reported, all of a sudden, as you approach your last days of the driving evaluation, the savings drop for now reason. My drives got better, but the app knocked of $26 of savings for no reason on my last 3-5 days. Which, leaves me feeling deceived by Liberty Mutual and definitely a sour taste with the whole program!
If you can get a discount through "EverDrive (which checks a lot more variables, including speed limit and cell phone use, and it does not incentivize unsafe driving)," choose that program and the company that offers it instead.
Spinning wheel of death
So first off the whole process of even getting signed up for this program is horrible. They cancelled it on me 3 times and took away discount. When I called they said the reason was because I hadn't signed up. I responded that there was never an email or anything telling me how to sign up. So I had to download the app to have the sensors sent to me (great thanks for letting me know in advance). The sensors arrive relatively quick, within a week or so. Now I'm trying to log back in and hook up the sensors and the app is not doing anything! Tried logging in and the login button just turns grey. Tried using the create account option and it gives me the spinning wheel of death. Tried to change password and it also gives me the spinning wheel of death. The app is not functioning whatsoever and their support button just has you call the support phone number which is currently closed. Now how can it be so hard to log into an app that you have already signed up for? It is also doing it on my wife's phone as I tried to pull up on there... get your app together liberty mutual. This may be the worst ran program I have ever seen. I wonder how many people just give it up and lose the discount or are scammed as they don't know how to activate. Please make this process more streamlined and for goodness sakes..... SEND SOME MATERIAL ON HOW TO ACTIVATE THE PROGRAM before you go deactivating people's discounts!
